So the Christian Coalition is rallying today at the White House, in support of Israel. I think I was on the Metro with some of them this morning (obviously from out of town, wearing matching T-shirts in which both the American flag and Jesus figured prominently).

I'm pretty disgusted with the affair, and especially the way the U.S. Jewish community is sitting up and begging. Really, whatever your views on Israeli politics, this guy in the Washington Post is right. Friends like this, we don't need.
