I like California, and I love my family out there, and it makes me sad that it's so far away. What say we take out a few irrelevant states (Nebraska, Utah, Nevada...) and push the coasts closer together? Anyone want to speak up in defense of desert places where no one should be living anyway? (Yes, I know large parts of California fit that description. Fine, we can lose southern CA too).
I had a few very weird and disturbing dreams last night. One was an embarrassingly typical first-day-of-work dream in which I somehow really pissed off the Senator- laughing at the wrong time or something. I've rarely been so happy to wake up.
The other involved Katie (BMC 02) telling me about a dig she's on right now, complaining that her colleagues were sabotaging her work area, stealing the artifacts she found, etc. I know this was just a dream (shut up!) but I'm curious - any arch'y people out there, does rivalry of this sort ever happen?
